In this ONE Esports guide, we’ll let you know about the best LMGs in Warzone Season 1.

In Warzone, many players avoid using LMGs because they can slow you down and aren’t as fast as other weapon types. However, they’re perfect for players who want to become a walking turret and hold defensive positions.

The game offers several LMGs to choose from, and if you like using them as a secondary or even primary weapon, it’s important to know which ones are the best.

Best LMGs in Warzone Season 1

CPMG-7

The CPMG-7 is a highly powerful LMG capable of taking down opponents with just a few accurate shots. It’s especially useful when facing groups of enemies, thanks to its heavy-hitting damage.

Just as you’d expect from an LMG, the CPMG-7 has a lot of recoil, so it can be difficult to control. However, with the right attachments, the recoil can be toned down. But it will still have a kick, so you’ll need some time to master it.

Another important thing to keep in mind is that the CPMG-7 isn’t an easy weapon to get, as you’ll need to hit level 52 to unlock it. Overall, it’s a solid weapon for LMG lovers, and it won’t disappoint you during intense fights.

We also recommend using a suppressor with the CPMG-7, as it will help you stay off the radar. But feel free to switch it with any other muzzle that suits your playstyle.

XMG

The second LMG that we’d recommend in Warzone Season 1 is XMG. By default, it has slightly higher firepower than the CPMG-7 but falls short in accuracy, handling, and mobility. However, with the right attachments, you can turn it into a deadly weapon.

The best thing about the XMG is its base 100-round magazine. With the Extended Mag I attachment, you can boost it to 150 rounds.

Since LMGs take time to reload, having a large magazine like this means you won’t have to reload constantly. On top of that, you can unlock the XMG early, so you’ll be able to use it before the CPMG-7.
