When does Black Ops 6 open beta start?
Activision hasn’t announced yet when the game’s open beta will start. Last year with Modern Warfare 3, it was around a month before the official release.
With Black Ops 6 releasing on October 25, 2024, we can surely expect the open beta to be during September, or even late August at the earliest.
How to play Black Ops 6 open beta early
To play the Black Ops 6 open beta early, you’ll need to pre-order any one of the editions for the game or be a Game Pass subscriber.
If you pre-order a digital version of the game, then you simply need to download the open beta and play.
If you pre-order a physical version (only for consoles), then a beta code will be sent to the email you purchased with. You’ll have to redeem it on the beta code redeem page of the official COD website.
What platforms will the Black Ops 6 beta be on?
As with previous CoD titles, Black Ops 6 will be available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
Players from all the platforms will be able to access the open beta at the same time, including early access.
Does Black Ops 6 open beta progress carry over to the full game?
No, the Black Ops 6 open beta progression will not carry over to the full game. This is similar to previous CoD titles.
Therefore, players will have to start from scratch when the full game launches on October 25.
