What is Call of Duty Black Ops 6?
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is the seventh entry in the Black Ops sub-series and 21st installment in Activision’s renowned shooter franchise. The game is developed by Treyarch and Raven Software.
Serving as a sequel to Black Ops Cold War, BO6 throws players into a heart-pounding espionage adventure set against the backdrop of the early 1990s. This turbulent period, with the Soviet Union crumbling and the Gulf War erupting, provides the perfect storm for an unforgettable spy thriller.
The game reunites players with iconic characters Frank Woods and Russel Adler in a gripping single-player campaign, alongside a cast of fresh faces.
Black Ops 6’s Multiplayer introduces a slew of new and returning features, including the innovative Omnimovement system, the classic Call of Duty Prestige system, 16 new maps, broad HUD customization options, immersive audio and graphics, and fresh weapons, equipment, and perks.
Meanwhile, round-based Zombies returns in Black Ops 6, with two new maps filled with remarkable weapons, power-ups, and Easter eggs for players to discover.

Additionally, the BO6 Vault Edition grants you the Mastercraft collection that boasts the following “Ultra” rare weapon blueprints:
- “Plague Doctor” Blueprint for the AMES 85 (assault rifle)
- “Mind’s Eye” blueprint for the combat knife (melee)
- “Scourge” blueprint for the Jackal PDW (submachine gun)
- “Brainstorm” blueprint for the LR 7.62 (sniper rifle)
- “Unrepentant” blueprint for the Marine SP (shotgun)
If you preorder the Cross-Gen or Standard Edition but later decide to upgrade to the Vault Edition, you can easily do so on the same platform where you originally purchased the game, as long as it’s within the upgrade window.
Upgrading to the Black Ops 6 Vault Edition will cost you an additional US$30.
