Black Ops 6 Season 2: New maps, modes, weapons, more

Black Ops 6 Season 2 is set to deliver even more intense action with its launch on January 28, 2025.

Fans can look forward to a content-packed update, featuring new weapons, maps, game modes, and much more for Multiplayer.

Here’s everything you need to know about all the new content coming to BO6 Season 2.

New maps in Black Ops 6 Season 2

Players will be able to roam around five new maps in Season 2:

Bounty (Core 6v6): This map is set on a skyscraper that leads to the penthouse of a local criminal boss. With lots of interests like the Lounge and Nightclub, only fear of heights stops players from unlocking the map’s true potential.
Dealership (Core 6v6): This map is set in a car dealership as the name implies. But in reality it’s a front for all things black market. Amidst all the expensive cars, there are some excellent spots to surprise your foes and make them regret even choosing this map.

Lifeline (Strike 2v2/6v6): A small yacht is the setting of this map, which makes it perfect for a jam-packed 6v6 match where every bullet counts. But don’t get fooled by its luxury as even the best can get tested.
Bullet (Strike 2v2/6v6): Dive into a rapidly moving bullet train where you go through all the classes and sections to take down your enemies. Don’t focus on the view for too long or that might be the last thing you see.
Grind (Core 6v6): This popular location from Black Ops 2 comes back in a highly defined and detailed package in Black Ops 6. Relive the glory of the skatepark like it was the olden days in this fan-favorite map.

Overdrive: In Overdrive, you will get points for getting different types of kills, like normal body shots, head shots, and the most impressive takedowns. The points also let you get special abilities like awakened senses and physical enhancements.
Gun Game: Gun Game returns to Black Ops 6, in which players will start with the same weapon and cycle through 20 different ones by getting kills throughout the matches.
Valentine’s Day Special Modes: In celebration of Valentine’s Day, players will get to experience a standard 3v3 for all the Third Wheelers in the Third Wheel Gunfight. Additionally, for the duos there is always the 2v2 moshpit comprising of Deathmatch, Domination and Kill Confirmed.
