The Black Ops 6 beta offers players an early glimpse into the highly anticipated next installment of the Call of Duty series.
If you’ve been immersed in the beta, honing your skills across various game modes and maps, and unlocking weapon attachments through dedicated grinding, you might be wondering whether your hard-earned beta progress will carry forward to the full game.
In this ONE Esports article, we provide you with the official answer to this important question.
Does Black Ops 6 beta progress carry over to the full release?
The answer is no. As confirmed by Activision via the Call of Duty Next Coms and Black Ops 6 beta blog post, your leveling progress in the beta and the associated content rewards will reset when the game officially launches.
However, when it comes to the cosmetic rewards you unlock while playing during the two phases of the beta, they will be added to your account and available at launch.
During Weekend One of the beta, the level cap you can reach is 20; during Weekend Two, it is 30. Every beta tester will get the cosmetic rewards listed below:
- Level 2: “Beta Tester” animated emblem
- Level 6: “Beta Tag” spray
- Level 11: “No Bugs” weapon charm
- Level 15: “Quick Draw” emote
- Level 20: “Squish” Westpoint operator skin (only unlockable during Weekend One)
- Level 20: “Squash” Westpoint operator skin (unlocked during either Weekend)
- Level 23: “The Truth Lies” loading screen
- Level 27: “Beta Expert” animated calling card
- Level 30: “Bug Smasher” weapon blueprint
That being out of the way, your level progress and the stats like K/D ratios will get wiped and will not carry over to the full game. The same is true for your weapon leveling.
In simpler terms, apart from the beta cosmetic rewards, no progress will get carried over to the main game.
