The highly anticipated Call of Duty Christmas event, also known as “CODMAS”, has officially started.
In this year’s CODMAS, a special event called Santa’s Slayground takes center stage, offering various challenges and rewards. This event is available across Modern Warfare 3 Multiplayer, Zombies, and Warzone.

Furthermore, players can immerse themselves in the festive spirit with limited-time modes, themed maps, and other captivating changes.

COD Christmas event start and end dates
Call of Duty’s Christmas event starts on December 19, 10 a.m. Pacific Time (PT) to January 3, 8 a.m. PT.

COD Christmas Event: Santa’s Slayground challenges and rewards
The Santa’s Slayground event offers seven unique rewards that you can acquire by completing different challenges across Call of Duty’s main game modes: Multiplayer, Zombies, and Warzone.
Obtaining all seven rewards unlocks the event’s ultimate reward, the Ugliest Sweater DG-58 LSW weapon blueprint.

Take note that you only have to complete one challenge in any game mode for each corresponding reward to earn the exclusive weapon blueprint.

Infectious Holiday
The Infectious Holiday mode is a reimagined version of the renowned Infected game mode.

If you happen to be selected as the initial infected player, your objective is to spread the infection to every other player, converting them into Zombie Santas to secure victory.
Conversely, if you start uninfected, your goal is to survive until the end of the match.
Snowfight
Snowfight is a variation of the Gunfight game mode, where the primary means of eliminating enemies involves the use of snowballs.

Warzone Slay Ride Resurgence during COD Christmas event
Slay Ride Resurgence is a playlist for Warzone during the COD Christmas Event, which is an exciting variation of the Resurgence mode.
Upon dropping into the game as usual, players will notice the Urzikstan train is now adorned with Christmas decorations and features a formidable Zombie Santa.
Successfully taking down the Zombie Santa not only provides you with powerful in-game loot but also gives you a distinctive emblem.
In addition to this, you can descend to one of the six Deck the Halls tree-themed capture points, where you can pick up high-tier gear right at the beginning of the match.
By standing near an uncontested tree, players can decorate and elevate its status. The tree can undergo upgrades up to tier three, enhancing the quality of loot to include superior weapons, killstreaks, and in-game currency.
Modern Warfare Zombies during COD Christmas Event
Throughout the Christmas event, the Modern Warfare Zombies mode features new seasonal enemy models and updated infil music.
What’s more, you can loot snowballs around the map, and use it to kill enemies.
