With the launch of Modern Warfare 3 Season 2 Reloaded, players are returning to the Warzone title to see the new locations and gear for themselves.
If you’re a PlayStation user eager to dive in, you might be wondering whether a PS Plus subscription is required to access Warzone.
Do you need PS Plus to play Warzone?
Warzone, launched in 2020, is a free-to-play battle royale game set in the Call of Duty universe.
Players are deployed onto various maps, where they engage in intense battles within a shrinking safe zone, scavenging for weapons and equipment to outlast other teams.
The match concludes when only one individual or squad remains standing.
Fortunately, similar to the original release in 2020, PlayStation users won’t require a PS Plus membership to dive into MW3 Warzone since it’s a free-to-play title.
However, if you are subscribed to PS Plus, you are entitled to a complimentary skin bundle called the Combat Pack 2, available for download in the PlayStation Store.

This additional benefit makes having a PS Plus membership not only advantageous to have in Modern Warfare 3 but also for other game titles on the PlayStation Store.
Moreover, if you are keen to play MW3 Multiplayer online, a PS Plus subscription is mandatory.
