Ray Gun is inarguably one of the most sought-after weapons in Black Ops 6 Zombies. Thankfully, with the introduction of The Tomb update, players can get their hands on a free Ray Gun by solving a secret Easter egg in Black Ops 6 Zombies.
It’s just like locating the headphones to trigger the song Easter Egg, but we understand you might need some extra help with this one. That’s why we’ve put together a detailed guide to help you unlock the The Tomb free Ray Gun in Black Ops 6 Zombies.

To unlock the free Ray Gun in The Tomb, you will need to find a shovel first. Thankfully, shovels are scattered across multiple locations on the map and one such point is near the Death Perception Machine.
You can easily spot it even from a distance, as it’s highlighted by a glowing white outline. The best part is their locations are fixed, which means you can visit the same location multiple times to get this tool.
Once you have a shovel in your hand, it’s time to locate a digging site by heading to the following locations:
- The first spot is just beyond the PhD Flopper machine.
- The second one is close to the Shrine of the Hierophants, next to the Stamin-Up Perk machine.
- The third digging site can be found in the Deep Excavation area.
Once you stand close to the digging site, you’ll get a prompt to dig the ground that will eventually reward you with 1x Ancient Gem. You’ll need a total of 3x Ancient Gems for this process, so make sure to dig all the sites mentioned above.
Once you have 3x ancient gems in your inventory, the final step is to bring them to the ancient statue in the tombs area. You should be able to spot it near a zombie spawn and a large mound of debris. It is also near the Death Perception Machine.
As soon as you interact with the statue, two elite Doppelghasts will spawn near you. Simply defeat them and grab your free Ray Gun along with 600 Essence.
