Your display name is a core part of your gaming identity. Updating it can be a fun way to express creativity, join a new clan, or align with your evolving preferences in the Call of Duty community.

The process of changing your name in Black Ops 6 is easy. Just follow these steps:

  1. Open Call of Duty.
  2. On the home screen, select Settings (cogwheel) located in the top-right corner.
  3. Navigate to the Account & Network section.
  4. Under the Online category, select Activision Account to view your account summary. Here, you’ll find your Activision ID, display name, and associated email.
  5. Select the Change Display Name option.
  6. Input your desired name and ensure it meets the guidelines.
  7. Choose Confirm and Restart to apply the changes.

Do note that every player begins with two rename tokens. A new rename token is granted every six months.
