As with just about any game, dev errors can be an issue that pops up from time to time. For Call of Duty Warzone 2, it’s not as often as some other titles, but it’s still possible to experience.
Luckily, there seems to be somewhat of a workaround for the current errors players are getting when playing the popular battle royale.
Fixing the dev error in Warzone 2 can be easy
Unfortunately, it’s hard to pinpoint exactly what may be causing the dev errors. They can range from internet issues to graphics, random bugs, and an assortment of other causes.
When it happens during the menu, it’s annoying. When it happens while you’re actively playing in a match, it’s truly frustrating.
A YouTuber with over 100,000 subscribers by the name of TheTacticalBrit seems to have found a solution.
Taking to Twitter to share the fix on May 22, TheTacticalBrit told players to “Delete all your loadouts. Make new ones from scratch without blueprints of camos.”
This is certainly not ideal and going to require quite a bit of tedious work and remembering each of your loadouts, but it’s better than nothing. He points out that following these instructions could very well save you from losing your skill rating should you disconnect due to an error during a ranked match.
If you’re getting the dev errors, we recommend giving this a shot and seeing if it helps solve the crashes for you.
