Getting a nuke is one of the biggest achievements in Call of Duty titles and Black Ops 6 is no different.
As is tradition, a nuke in Black Ops 6 guarantees an instant win by wiping out the entire lobby and finishing the match, no matter what the current score is.
However, getting a nuke isn’t an easy task as it requires an incredible amount of skill and discipline. With that said, we explain how to obtain this killstreak.
How to unlock nuke killstreak in Black Ops 6
The only way to get a nuke in Black Ops 6 is by killing 30 opponents in a row in a Multiplayer match. However, it’s worth noting that you can only use weapons and tactical equipment to maintain your kill streak.
In other words, eliminations from scorestreaks such as Chopper Gunner, Hellstorm, and Watchdog Helo won’t count.
Although taking a few consecutive kills isn’t a big deal, there are high chances that the opponent will take you down before you achieve 30 kills without dying. Therefore, getting a nuke in Black Ops 6 requires a lot of patience, skill, and precision.
How to activate it nuke in Black Ops 6
Once you meet the aforementioned condition, you will earn the nuke killstreak and it will appear in the fourth slot of the killstreak pannel. Then, press the respective keybind on your keyboard or button on your controller to drop a nuke on the map.
When you trigger the nuke, all the players in the match will get five seconds of playtime before it detonates.
It’s also worth noting that Black Ops 6 boasts a brand-new nuke animation that begins with your hands catching fire, followed by a giant fireball mushroom erupting in the area. The game wraps up with the final score shown on the screen.
