Overview of The Tomb in BO6 Zombies
The Tomb will be the fourth addition to the beloved round-based Zombies series, joining Liberty Falls, Terminus, and Citadelle Des Morts.
After narrowly escaping the horrors of Citadelle des Morts, the main characters—Weaver, Grey, Carver, and Maya—are drawn to a nearby excavation site, following Gabriel Krafft’s mysterious final words. Their mission: to retrieve the cryptic Sentinel Artifact hidden within The Tomb.
Treyarch’s latest Zombies map promises an experience similar to the popular Liberty Falls, their most-played Zombies map in recent memory. Players can expect more compact, high-intensity play areas designed to enhance replayability.
Much like Liberty Falls, the new map is filled with hidden Easter eggs and features a reimagined Wonder Weapon, paying homage to Treyarch’s legendary Zombies legacy.
Additionally, one of the most iconic SMGs in Zombies history is making a triumphant return.
The Tomb release date
The Tomb map will officially launch with Black Ops 6 and Warzone Season 2 on January 28, 2025.
Like every Call of Duty seasonal update, Season 2 is expected to kick off at 9 a.m. Pacific Time (PT).
To help players dive into the action right away, the season update will likely be available for pre-download one or two days before its official release.
