Submachine guns are perfect for close-range combat in Black Ops 6, and one SMG we recommend is the Tanto .22.

However, this weapon won’t be available right from the start. But don’t worry, in this ONE Esports guide, we walk you through how to unlock Tanto 22 in the game.

Here’s how to unlock Tanto 22 in Black Ops 6

Tanto .22 isn’t a weapon that can be unlocked by completing a specific challenge. Instead, you can acquire it by increasing your player level.

You’ll get the Tanto .22 SMG in Black Ops 6 after you reach level 16. While this may seem like a hectic process, hitting level 16 isn’t a big challenge, especially if you know which methods to follow.

How to quickly increase your level in Black Ops 6

While the primary way of earning XP is by killing enemies, there are plenty of other methods that you should focus on to improve your level.

Complete challenges

Daily challenges in Black Ops 6 are regularly updated, each requiring you to complete a different task. For example, you might need to get long-range kills with an assault rifle or kill an enemy by throwing back a frag grenade they tossed at you.

Similarly, there also exist weekly challenges, which remain active for seven days and are replaced by new ones as soon as their time ends. So, keep an eye out for these challenges and complete as many as possible to earn loads of XP.

Use Double XP tokens

As you progress through the game, you’ll earn different items, including Double XP tokens. Once activated, these tokens give you double the usual XP for a set period.

Some tokens last for 15 minutes, while others can give you double XP for up to an hour. So, make sure to use them wisely to maximize your XP gains.

However, don’t use them randomly. Save them for times when you know you can keep playing until the token expires.

Focus on objectives

We get it. Playing modes like Team Deathmatch and Free-For-All can be fun. However, these only help you earn XP by killing enemies. On the other hand, modes like Hardpoint and Domination offer much more than that.

For instance, in Hardpoint, you need to stay within a marked location until the timer ends. This rewards you with plenty of XP. Similarly, in Domination, you can earn XP by capturing and defending points.
