Season 3 Reloaded of Modern Warfare 3 has been announced and it includes a lot of new content for players to dive into across multiplayer and zombies.
While some of the content was previously announced during the start of Season 3, the majority of these were a surprise to players.
In this guide, we’ll detail all of the new content players can look forward to in MW3 Season 3 Reloaded.
All new content in MW3 Multiplayer Season 3 Reloaded
MW3 Season 3 Reloaded New Mode — Minefield
The Minefield mode follows the same basic roles as some of the modes available like Kill Confirmed, Domination and Hardpoint, but with a twist– each operator will drop a Proximity Mine when they are eliminated.
This mine can’t be picked up and is also deadly to the eliminated operator’s team. This means the more players are eliminated, the more mines on the field and the more you’ll have to be careful of each step.
MW3 Season 3 Reloaded New Mode — Escort
In the Escort Mode, players will have to escort a MAW to a point while also hacking three points across the map.
One team will have to defend the MAW while the other team has to attack it.
The MAW will only move forward if any of the attacking operators are nearby and will move in reverse if any of the defending operators are close.
This takes over two rounds and the team who hacks the most points or all three points in the shortest time, wins.
MW3 Season 3 Reloaded New Map — Grime
This map is based on the abandoned corner of London’s dockside district, featuring graffiti-laden walls and a canal.
MW3 Season 3 Reloaded New Map — Checkpoint
This map will be familiar to Warzone veterans, as it is part of the game’s Rebirth Island. In a modified version of the familiar map, players will fight around the buildings of the military outpost.
MW3 Season 3 Reloaded New Playlists — Arcade and Vortex
The Arcade Playlist is a new addition to the multiplayer mode, that focuses on powerups and special weapon pickups.
There are a lot of powerups and special weapons players can get so this mode is certainly exciting and worth looking forward to.
While not a new addition, the Vortex playlist is also making a return for a limited amount of time in the game, during the mid-season.
MW3 Season 3 Reloaded New Weapon — BAL-27
The BAL-27 is a four-shot bullpup rifle which is devastating at close range and will make its debut in MW3 in Season 3 Reloaded.
MW3 Season 3 New Field Upgrade — Enhanced Vision Goggles
The Enhanced Vision Goggles is the new field upgrade that will provide improved target acquisition during matches. It has a limited battery and it will deplete while in use.
MW3 Season 3 New Tactical — EMD Mine
The new tactical is the EMD Mine, which sticks to surfaces and will trigger when operators are in close proximity.
When triggered, the mine will attach itself to operators and reveal their positions on the minimap.
