MW3 Season 3 goes live across all platforms on April 3, 9 a.m. Pacific Time (PT).

There are 6 new maps available in MW3 Season 3.

MW3 Season 3 new game modes and playlist
There are four new game modes and one playlist available.
- Capture the Flag (available at Launch)
- One in the Chamber (available within launch window)
- Minefield (available mid Season)
- Escort (available mid Season)
- Vortex Playlist (available In-Season)
MW3 Season 3 new weapons and aftermarket parts
Four new weapons are arriving.
- FJX Horus submachine gun (available on launch, Battle Pass Sector 8)
- MORS sniper rifle (available on launch, Battle Pass Sector 4)
- Gladiator melee weapon (available on launch, Battle Pass Sector 15)
- BAL-27 assault rifle (available mid season, acquisition method not yet revealed)
Additionally, there are eight new aftermarket parts to unlock via the Battle Pass or weekly challenges throughout the season.

Ranked Play in Modern Warfare 3 Season 3 starts on launch day and runs throughout the season.

MW3 Season 3 new perks, field upgrade, and equipment
Modern Warfare 3 season 3 introduces five new perks in the form of vests, boots, and gear. A new tactical equipment and field upgrade will be added mid-season.

- Compression Carrier (Launch)
- Reinforced Boots (Launch)
- High-Gain Antenna (available mid-season)
- EMD Mine Tactical Equipment (available mid-season)
- Enhanced Vision Goggles (available mid-season)
MW3 Season 3 new Prestige ranks
MW3 Season 3 adds an additional 200 levels and four new Prestige ranks (10,11,12 and 13) for players to unlock.
An exclusive set of tiered challenges gets unlocked at each Prestige rank, with calling cards in both Multiplayer and Zombies.
Furthermore, reaching Prestige 10 grants a Holger 556 assault rifle weapon blueprint named “Supreme Killer”.
