Since it’s one of the notable additions of the Season 2 update, many players are wondering how the Hordepoint mode works in Modern Warfare 3.
With that said, here’s everything we know so far about the Modern Warfare 3 Hordepoint.
How to play Hordepoint mode in Modern Warfare 3
MW3 Hordepoint is a variation of the popular Hardpoint mode in which your primary objective is to capture Hardpoint boundaries while dealing with opponents and, specifically, the deadly waves of zombies.
As you and your team fight off both the living and the dead, only one of you has to stay in the Hardpoint to secure it.

Luckily, killing zombies in Hordepoint Mode is not only a way to survive but also a way to gain some benefits.
Every zombie kill has a chance to drop a Pack-a-Punched weapon, which is an upgraded version of a regular weapon with enhanced damage, accuracy, and other attributes. Pack-a-Punched weapons can give you an edge over your enemies, but they also have limited ammo, so use them wisely.
On top of that, some zombies might also drop two different power-ups — Max Ammo and Instakill, which refill your Ammo Supply and allow you to one-shot enemies, respectively.
Finally, you can also earn Killstreaks by eliminating Zombies; every five Zombie kills count as one Operator kill point for getting Killstreaks.
According to the official Call of Duty blog, MW3 players can expect the Horde Hunt Event to launch alongside this limited-time mode. As a result, they can earn a variety of rewards when they participate in Hordepoint mode and complete its challenges.
