OpTic Texas has made the first changes to its roster following recent speculation.

The Call of Duty League Championship recently wrapped up the 2023 season, and now rostermania is heading into full swing, with OpTic being a part of it.

It’s expected that the CDL 2022 champions, Zack “Drazah” Jordan and Dylan “Envoy” Hannon, will be joining Anthony “shotzzy” Cuevas-Castro and Brandon “Dashy” Otell to form the new OpTic roster.

It looks like the two that are making room for the possible new additions are Daniel “Ghosty” Rothe and Cuyler “Huke” Garland. Huke joined in early 2023 as essentially a replacement for Seth “scump” Abner who retired in January, while Ghosty was brought in as a replacement for Indervir “iLLeY” Dhaliwal.

Despite some decent results across the season, with OpTic ending runner-up in both the second and fourth Majors, it seems the team longs for more.

Fans can expect many more moves to be taking place in the coming weeks, as the current Call of Duty League contracts are set to expire on July 2.

This means rosters will be making some announcements to prepare for signings coming shortly thereafter, and also giving some of their players time to find a new home in the upcoming CDL 2024 season.
