Pred and Kenny become bricks in the OpTic Texas green wall
Amer “Pred” Zulbeari and Kenneth “Kenny” Williams have found themselves placed in the green wall. The announcement came via Twitter, where OpTic revealed their fully formed roster for the upcoming year.
Pred spent the season with the Seattle Surge, while Kenny was previously playing under the Los Angeles Thieves banner.
To add some lore to the mix, Pred and the rest of the Surge was the squad that eliminated OpTic during the recent 2023 CDL Championship. In addition to that, there’s always been a bit of a rivalry between the Thieves and OpTic, and Kenny has now swapped sides.
OpTic tried to acquire Pred’s services during the 2023 season, but Seattle Surge placed a hefty price tag on the star, according to OpTic CEO, Hector “H3CZ” Rodriguez.
Despite some decent results across the season, with OpTic ending runner-up in both the second and fourth Majors, it seems the team longs for more, and they’re hoping this roster will do the trick.
