Warzone released a significant patch today, focused on a huge RPK nerf and yet another downgrade to one of the most popular submachine guns.
In this article, we highlight the notable weapon adjustments aimed at shaking up the current meta, and list down all the changes in the latest Warzone patch notes.
Warzone’s August 6 patch rolls out JAK Cataclysm RPK nerf, delivers another hit to Superi 46
The JAK Cataclysm, a conversion kit that transforms the RPK light machine gun into a lethal sniper rifle, had its damage output, range, and damage multiplier significantly decreased.
This reduces the ability of the RPK JAK Cataclysm build to achieve two-shot kills in medium to long-range combat.
“We have adjusted the RPK JAK Cataclysm conversion kit to make it a three-bullet elimination at the max range, as long as that includes at least one headshot,” the game developers said.
Following the previous patch that reduced its range, the Superi 46 received a nerf to its near-mid and minimum damage.
This adjustment further diminishes the weapon’s effectiveness in close-quarters combat, prompting players to consider other SMG options.
