If you want to learn how to get Longshot Kills effectively in Black Ops 6, this ONE Esports guide has you covered.
Getting Longshot Kills is one of the frequent challenges to unlock weapon camos, obtain in-game items, or earn bonus XP.
Players can earn this type of elimination by taking a kill in a certain way, fulfilling a requirement. With that said, here’s everything you need to know about it.
Here’s how to get Longshot Kills in Black Ops 6
In Black Ops 6, you can get Longshot Kills by taking out enemies from a distance of 50 meters or beyond. That being said, the most consistent distance to get a confirmed Longshot Kill is 51 meters.
Picking up this type of elimination is not restricted to any particular weapon class. So, if you manage to slay enemy from 50 meters or more with even a pistol, you will be rewarded with the Longshot Kill Medal.
Best strategies to rack up Longshot Kills
The most convenient weapon classes for farming Longshot Kills are sniper, marksman, and assault rifles with 4x or greater magnification scope.
Also, be sure to equip attachments that boost both range and bullet velocity—many barrels offer these benefits—helping you consistently achieve Longshot Kills.
Maps with large open areas or long pathways are ideal for securing Longshot Kills. We strongly suggest selecting Scud, Derelict, or Gala when possible.
Can you get Longshot Kills in private matches?
The answer is no. Unlike every other challenge, you cannot farm Longshot Kills in private matches.
On that note, we also don’t recommend the Zombies mode as the zombies always spawn near you, and thus, it is substantially difficult to get over 50 meters away from them and take them out to get the Medal.
