In this ONE Esports article, we share everything you need to know about Slay Ride Resurgence.

What is Slay Ride Resurgence?

Slay Ride Resurgence is a festive twist on the classic Resurgence mode, set on the Urzikstan map, designed for fast-paced and chaotic gameplay.

The match begins with a smaller gas circle, forcing intense engagements from the start, and features a total of 56 players divided into squads.

The respawn mechanics are similar to the standard Resurgence mode—players can return to the fight as long as at least one squadmate remains alive. The respawn timer decreases as your team completes objectives, encouraging strategic and aggressive play.

However, this holiday mode introduces unique seasonal elements that add an extra layer of excitement.

One of the highlights is Undead Santa, a menacing NPC boss who has taken control of the train traversing the map. Alongside his henchmen, Undead Santa presents a formidable challenge. Defeating him rewards you with high-tier loot, making him a prime target for squads.

Adding to the chaos, the gas circle dynamically moves along the train’s route, forcing players to adapt their strategies and stay on the move.

To complement the festive theme, players can land at one of Deck the Halls tree-themed capture points, marked on the tac map, to secure high-tier loot at the start of the match.

Standing near a tree with no enemies in proximity begins its decoration process. Each tree can be upgraded through three tiers, with higher tiers offering increasingly valuable rewards, including superior weapons, Killstreaks, and in-game cash.

For additional holiday fun, players can hunt reindeer scattered across the map for powerful loot drops. And if that wasn’t enough, you’re also equipped with deadly snowballs, which can be thrown at enemies to deal significant damage or finish off downed opponents, just like a Throwing Knife fight.
