The Season 3 Reloaded update has brought in a lot of content for the MW3 Zombies mode.
Most prominently it has brought a new story mission called Union where you will have to rescue Dr Jansen. The mission might get confusing for players looking to complete it.

How to start the Union Story mission in MW3 Zombies
To start off the Union mission, you’ll need to select it from the Zombies home menu. After that, load into the game and head for the E4 coordinates in the Urzikstan map. You’ll be notified of the location when you select it as well.
Before going on to the mission, it is recommended that you bring in two or three players with you as you will definitely need help.
Also, make sure you have enough body armor and at least level 2 Pack-A-Punch weapons. These will make everything much easier.
How to weaken and shatter the crystals in the MW3 Zombies Union mission
After arriving in the Dark Aether, you will have to follow Dr. Ravenov to locate Dr. Jansen.
Two orbs will appear when Dr. Jansen enters the Aether clouds and these orbs will go to two different locations. Shoot the orbs and they will eventually land in two locations as crystals.
Your task is to weaken and shatter these crystals by destroying the symbols appearing on them. The symbols are located within a designated area, mainly on walls and corners.
These are small in size but not that hard to locate. When you locate them, shoot them in the order they appear on the crystals otherwise they will be reset. After a while, the crystals will weaken and you can shatter them.
How to break the Seals in the MW3 Zombies Union mission
Now, you will have to go back to Ravenov’s position and the next task will be to activate three seals near his location.
Activate them and start killing zombies near the seals to break them. A progress meter is shown to show how much is required to break the seals.
How to defeat Taoxia in the MW3 Zombies Union mission
After breaking the seals, you will have to activate a summon and a Disciple variant called Taoxia will appear. They won’t take a lot of time to defeat as long as you and your teammates have at least Pack-A-Punch level 2 weapons.
Other special zombies like Mimics and Manglers will also spawn during certain stages of the fight during which Taoxia is immune to any damage. After they are defeated, Taoxia can be damaged again. Repeating this will eliminate her in a short time.
The reward for defeating Taoxia will be a Giraffe Toy which can be used to enter the Dark Aether once again.
After the fight, you will need to follow Dr.Jansen to the Dark Aether Rift to exit. You will face some zombies trying to stop you but they can be easily handled.
After exiting the rift, the mission will be completed.
Union mission rewards in MW3 Zombies
The reward for completing the Union Story mission is the Fabulous Flames charm along with 10,000 XP. The ability to visit the Third Dark Aether Zone anytime will also be unlocked.
