A lot of new additions will be present in the new Season 3 Reloaded update for Modern Warfare 3. Alongside new content, a popular playlist is also making its return — the Vortex Playlist.
This playlist appeared in the previous season and will be returning again for the upcoming Season 3 Reloaded update.
Here’s everything you need to know about the Vortex Playlist in MW3 Season 3 Reloaded.
MW3 Vortex Playlist explained
The Vortex playlist is a Free for All mode based on modified versions of fan-favourite maps from the original Modern Warfare 2.
The maps have a change in theme as they give out a more spooky and horror vibe, similar to what is seen in the Zombies mode in the game. As of now, there are five maps for this playlist:
- Satan’s Quarry, based on Quarry
- Sporeyard, based on Scrapyard
- Tetanus, based on Rust
- Skidgrow, based on Skidrow
- Airborne, based on Terminal
The Vortex Playlist is essentially just a Mosh Pit playlist with the above-mentioned map. This means it will have the basic 6v6 modes in the game like Team Deathmatch, Hardpoint, Kill Confirmed and Domination.
So far, the only major difference from other playlists is that players will be able to play in the spooky versions of these fan-favourite MW2 maps.
As this will be available for a limited time, players will have to make sure they enjoy everything the playlist has to offer.
This playlist will also be a great way to get XP that can help progress towards the Vortex Virus Mainframe Event and ultimately, the Binary Morality Camo.
That’s everything you need to know about the Vortex playlist in Modern Warfare 3 Season 3 Reloaded.
