But what exactly are they and which POIs are vulnerable? Here’s everything you need to know about Warzone Infil Strikes.
What are Warzone Infil Strikes?
Warzone Infil Strikes is a random public event that takes place on three different POIs, Lighthouse, Prison, and Water Tower, on the Rebirth Island.
As the name suggests, a Jet randomly executes an air strike at one of these POIs at the beginning of a match, adding a new gameplay experience.
When the Infil Strikes hit the Lighthouse POI, the central lighthouse tower at Headquarters disintegrates from the main location and topples into the forecourt and the corner of the Prison below, creating rubble ramps to the adjacent building and Prison.
As the tower collapses on the Prison it forms a ramp, allowing players to sprint directly to the prison roof and the structure below it.
When it comes to the Prison, the air strike creates a large plume of smoke and massive destruction across the Prison roof, with numerous small fires and rubble piles inside the main chambers.
It also splits the roof into two wide openings, allowing players to land directly inside the prison from the top.
Finally, if Warzone Infil Strikes hits Water Tower, the tower’s central platform crashes down into the plateau close to the helipad.
As a result, you’ll notice a mass of mangled steel ripped apart from the tank and scattered all over the POI.
Like the lighthouse, the water tower is one of popular camping spots for snipers, making this POI an excellent target for Infil Strike.
So make sure to take advantage of these Warzone Infil Strikes until Call of Duty Season 3 lasts.
