The M4 and BAL-27 assault rifles, Superi 46 and Minibak submachine guns, TAQ Eradicator light machine gun, and other fan-favorite guns received significant buffs and nerfs to achieve better meta balance.

Superstore POI in Urzikstan
The Superstore is a newly introduced point of interest in the Urzikstan map for Warzone Season 5. This massive retail complex offers players a wealth of loot, from essential gear to powerful weaponry and killstreaks.
However, this iconic POI is a hot drop zone, attracting numerous players eager to secure its valuable contents. Expect intense firefights as you navigate the store’s aisles, shelves, and rooftop.
New mode in Warzone Season 5: Superstore Resurgence
This limited-time, action-packed mode drops players directly into the Superstore location. With a smaller-scale battleground, anticipate intense close-quarters combat and quick redeployments.

Gameplay features in Warzone Season 5
- Warzone Rewards: 16 challenges under four categories have been added, offering new weapon camos, blueprints and other cosmetic rewards. Completing all the challenges grants the “Sports Icon” weapon blueprint.
- Combat Expertise: Focused on getting weapons and eliminations
- Cooperation: Communicate and help your squad
- Mobility: Get into the heat
- Redacted: Intentionally mysterious challenges
- Redeploy Drone Beacon field upgrade (for all maps and modes): The RDB is a throwable item that allows your squad to quickly and strategically relocate across the map. Once deployed, it calls in a drone that can transport your entire team to its location.
- Bounty Contest public event (for all maps in Resurgence mode): Every squad is assigned a bounty contract, and the first team to eliminate their target becomes the new bounty. With each successful elimination, the bounty increases, enticing other squads to join the fray. This can occur during the second and fifth circles.
- Buy Station inventory update: The new RDB has replaced the PRD, with two stocks and a price of $4,000 each. Additionally, the Specialist Perk Package can now be purchased in Resurgence (excluding Ranked), with a single stock and price of $30,000.
- Champion’s Quest timers: The timers for each element have been reduced per squad size:
- Quads: Reduced to 10m05s, down from 10m45s
- Trios: Reduced to 8m05s, down from 8m35s
- Duos: Reduced to 6m30s, down from 6m40s
- Solos: Reduced to 4m20s, down from 4m30s
- Solo Contract Behavior: Contracts will no longer be canceled if you are eliminated in Resurgence Solos.
Important UI changes in Warzone Season 5
- Dynamic Gas Mask Overlay: The gas mask overlay will now fade in and out depending if you’re in gas or not. This way, players can equip the gas mask at any time without having their vision impacted.
- Reinforcement Flare: Added a reminder in the HUD whenever your squad mate is eliminated and you have a reinforcement flare available.
