Innovations in Resurgence Ranked Play
There are plenty of innovations and alterations in Resurgence Ranked Play that you should be aware of.
- First of all, you must be at least Level 55 to participate in the Resurgence Ranked Play.
- The second most notable change is you will now earn Stars based on squad placement, with adjustments for the lower squad count.
- Skill Rating (SR) rewards have been tuned to reflect the faster Resurgence playstyle and reduced squad count. The SR for kills and assists has also been adjusted based on the number of teams remaining.
- A new feature includes Seasonal SR Challenges, offering bonus SR rewards for completing challenges at the beginning of each Ranked Play Season. The challenges include achieving certain kills, assists, and squad placements.
- A new concept, SR Death Fees, has been introduced starting at Silver I. These fees deduct a small amount of SR each time a player dies in a match, emphasizing survival skills. The deducted SR cannot exceed the match Deployment Fee.
- The rejoining and match canceling system has been altered. Disconnected players will not be redeployed but remain in the match, and at least three squads must be present for a disconnected player to rejoin. Matches can be canceled during the pre-lobby if the player count drops below 13 squads.
