Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is dropping this month, but many fans are still wondering, “Will Black Ops 6 be cross-platform?”
Activision’s next FPS title features a thrilling Campaign narrative, a competitive online Multiplayer, and the continuation of the gripping Zombies storyline from Black Ops Cold War.
As the game’s release draws near, many players are eager to know if cross-platform play will be available, allowing them to team up with friends on different systems.
Will Black Ops 6 be cross-platform? Here’s the answer
Black Ops 6 supports cross-platform play. Console players (PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S) can play with PC players in Multiplayer mode, given that they have cross-platform setting enabled.
BO6 also includes cross-progression, which means your cosmetics, in-game progression, and Battle Pass tiers will carry over across different platforms.
Both options have been available to new Call of Duty titles since the 2019 remake of Modern Warfare 1, which saw massive earnings–US$600 million–within three days of release.
BO6’s new Campaign takes place at the height of the Gulf War, where you fight alongside veteran Frank Woods in a secret war against a clandestine organization infiltrating the CIA’s highest ranks.
Black Ops 6 releases on October 25, 2024 on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Windows).
