Valve’s auto-battler game, Dota Underlords, has rolled out its first update for the month of October, bringing with it a major change for the Savage alliance.
Savage units now obtain an Attack Damage bonus instead of inflicting the stackable bleed damage they used to do. This bonus AD will be activated every time Savage heroes successfully land an enemy attack.
Allied Savage units gain +[4, 8, 15] Attack Damage each time they land an attack on an enemy. This replaces the bleed effect that would be applied each time they landed an attack.
- Auto Chess will be available on PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch in 2020
- Dota Underlords’ latest patch buffs Warlock and nerfs Tombstone
Aside from the huge Savage nerf, the following four heroes have also been slightly altered: Lycan, Slardar, Venomancer, and Viper.
A bug with Lycan’s Shapeshift ability has been fixed, which should prevent it from excessive amounts of healing, while Slardar’s Corrosive Haze has been set to not be cast on targets currently affected by it.
Venomancer’s Venomous Gale projectile now travels up to five cells, with its damage increased to [30, 60, 120]. The dragon unit Viper is now considered as a Scaled unit, formerly an Assassin. Viper’s Viper Strike was replaced with Nethertoxin which poisons a cell and disables an enemy’s passive ability.
Players should watch out for The Big Update which should come sometime early this October.
