The International 11 champions aren’t resting on their laurels, picking up another Aegis holder for its new Dota 2 roster.
Ivan “MinD_ContRoL” Ivanov is Tundra’s newest offlaner, the Western European organization announced last night.
This marks MinD_ContRoL’s first official transfer in more than four years. The 28-year-old was part of Nigma Galaxy’s first roster — staying with them for more than four years. The oflaner had played with former captain Kuro “KuroKy” Salehi Takhasomi for over seven years and three separate teams.

Tundra Esports adds MinD_ContRoL to Dota 2 roster
- Topias “Topson” Taavitsainen
- Ivan “MinD_ContRoL” Ivanov
- Edgar “9Class” Naltakian
- Matthew “Whitemon” Filemon
One final piece of the puzzle is left for Tundra following the arrival of its new offlaner. The team is still lacking their position one, with a coach likely incoming as well.
The team is scheduled to contest the BetBoom Dacha WEU qualifiers beginning January 11, and will need a full roster by then.
MinD_ContRoL, known for his incredibly large hero pool and versatile playstyle, will be a good fit for Topson — a player known to take over the game, but mostly with off-meta or his signature heroes. He will also have some familiarity with his offlane partner, 9Class, having played together in a stack called “The dudley boys” for the Pinnacle: 25 Year Anniversary Show, where they stomped their way to the finals through the upper bracket only to fall to Team Falcons.
