Beyond the Summit (BTS) has announced that they will be hosting the Dota Summit 12 tournament on March 10-13, right in the middle of this season’s third Major cycle.
Dota Summit 12 will feature six teams and a US$150,000 prize pool and will take place during the downtime between the StarLadder ImbaTV Kyiv Minor, to be held from March 5-8, and the ESL One Los Angeles Major, to be held from March 15-22.

The six participating teams will be directly invited to the event, though BTS has not yet announced which teams have received invites.
Since Dota Summit 12 will be hosted in the BTS studios in Los Angeles, we can expect the participating teams to either be North American teams that did not qualify for the Los Angeles Major or teams that did and are already in the area preparing for the Major.
This will be the second Dota Summit that BTS has hosted this season, with the Dota Summit 11 last November being the first Minor of the 2019-2020 Dota Pro Circuit.
