Dota 2 teams qualified for The International 2025 are starting to pile up.

Valve announced eight teams and their rosters that have received direct invites, which includes Team Liquid, Team Spirit, and Gamin Gladiators.

The remaining eight slots in the tournament will be filled by teams that successfully navigate the Regional Qualifiers, with a specific number of slots allocated to each region.

The journey to The International commences with Open Qualifiers held globally from May 31 to June 3 (June 2nd to 5th for China).

These pave the way for the Regional Qualifiers. Participation in these qualifiers is reserved for players with a positive standing within the competitive Dota scene.

The Eastern Europe and South America qualifiers takes place from June 4 to June 8, 2025, China and North America qualifiers from June 9 to 12, and Southeast Asia and Western Europe from June 13 to June 17.

Following these regional battles, the sixteen victorious and directly invited teams will converge in Hamburg, Germany.

At The International 2025, teams compete in a three-day, five-round Swiss stage, leading into an elimination bracket, will unfold from Thursday, September 4 to Sunday, September 7, 2025.

The top eight contenders will then advance to the prestigious Barclays Arena, where the quest for the Aegis of Champions will begin on September 11, culminating in the highly anticipated Grand Finals on Sunday, September 14, 2025.
