ESL has announced that ESL One Birmingham will be back for a third straight year this May and will feature 12 teams competing for a US$300,000 prize pool.
The event will not be part of the DPC.
The event will be held at the Arena Birmingham from May 29-31.
Eight teams will be directly invited to the event, while the remaining four will qualify through a set of regional qualifiers in North America, Europe and CIS, China, and Southeast Asia.
Team Secret won last year’s tournament, besting Evil Geniuses in a thrilling five-game series to take home the championship.
