Team Secret, OG, and Ninjas in Pyjamas (NiP) will be the three European representatives at the ESL One Los Angeles Major.
Secret and OG predictably dominated their respective sides of the qualifier, while NiP were the surprise team to bag the third spot for the region.
Secret, the champions of the Leipzig Major, went on a perfect run in the qualifiers to ensure they’ll be able to defend their Major championship title.
Secret breezed through Group A, making short work of OG.Seed, Vikin.gg, Nigma Esports, and Aggressive Mode to top their group and face NiP in the playoffs.
Secret swept NiP, 2-0, to become the first European team to secure a spot in Los Angeles. The reigning Major champions notably flexed in game two, using an unusual core duo of Riki and Meepo to win in just 22 minutes.

Meanwhile, the new OG roster came all the way from the open qualifier and dominated the competition to bag the second spot.
OG topped Group B of the group stage with a 7-1 score, sweeping Alliance, NiP, and Team Singularity while splitting their series with Team Liquid, to face AM in the playoffs.
OG outclassed AM to secure their spot in Los Angeles, winning game one of the series in 32 minutes then securing the sweep in game two in 26 minutes.
After surprising showings in the qualifier that saw them make the playoffs over more favored teams in Nigma Esports, Alliance, and Team Liquid, AM and NiP faced off for the last direct invite for Europe.
It was NiP who came away with a ticket to Los Angeles, however, as they swept AM to qualify for their first Major of the season.
Secret, OG, and NiP will be among the 16 teams vying for the lion’s share of a US$1,000,000 prize pool and 15,000 Dota Pro Circuit points in the Los Angeles Major in March.
