South Korean esports organization, T1, has signed both Galvin “Meracle” Kang Jian and Wilson “Poloson” Koh Chin Wei as the last two members of its Dota 2 team.
After being on a trial period for an entire month as T1’s hard carry and hard support players, T1 has decided to stabilize its Dota 2 squad and work towards building the team’s coordination and synergy, instead of looking for bigger free agents in the Southeast Asian region.

Both Meracle and Poloson are veteran Dota 2 players who were previously with Alpha x Hashtag from August to December last year. The duo was then picked up by T1 after Dominik “Black^” Reitmeier and Yixuan “Xuan” Gao left the team, following a surprising lose to Team Oracle at the ONE Esports Dota 2 Jakarta Invitational Indonesia Qualifier.
The team has also decided to retain its coaching team, which consists of Choi “cCarter” Byoung-hoon, Pyo “MP” No-a, and Nicholas “xFreedom” Lim who have been with the squad since the organization announced its newly-formed Dota 2 squad last March.
