Peruvian Position 4 support player Joel Mori “MoOz” Ozambela and German midlaner Leon “Nine” Kirilin has parted ways with North American squad Business Associates.
MoOz announced his departure from Business Associates in a statement on his personal Twitter account, where he also gave his thanks and best wishes to his former teammates. The team also revealed that Nine will be taking a break from playing competitive Dota 2.
MoOz was one of the most promising young talents from South America heading into the 2019-2020 Dota Pro Circuit (DPC), having showcased his skill while playing for teams such as Gorillaz-Pride and Infamous.
He first moved to North America to join Beastcoast in June 2019 before teaming up with the Business Associates roster under J.Storm in September of that year.
Meanwhile, Nine first made his name with PENTA Sports from September 2017 to March 2018 and then with Team Spirit from September 2018 to January 2019 before moving to North America himself to join J.Storm in May 2019.

The roster under J.Storm started the season with respectable 5th-6th place finishes in both DreamLeague Season 12 and the MDL Chengdu Major.
However, with the indefinite suspension of the DPC as a result of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, the J.Storm organization ceased their Dota 2 operations in March of this year, which forced the roster to continue playing on their own under the team name Business Associates.
While MoOz did not reveal his plans now that he has left the team, it is expected that he will return to competing in South America, where his talents and experience will surely make him a sought-after free agent.
Meanwhile, Business Associates announced that they have tapped Jacky “EternalEnvy” Mao and Jingjun “Sneyking” Wu, who last played for the now-disbanded Cloud9, to replace Nine and MoOz, respectively.
