The Malaysian mid-laner Chai “Mushi” Yee Fung has parted ways from team Aster only a month in after his swap from Tigers.
This is not the first time that Aster is losing members. Earlier this year, the team saw veterans Liu “Sylar” Jiajun and Lu “Fenrir” Chao leaving.
Aster founder and co-coach Xu “BurNIng” Zhilei went on stream to discuss some insights he had on the team. BurNIng aims to rebuild the team as they look for a support, a carry, and a mid-laner due to Mushi’s departure.
To replace the missing players, BurNIng has taken Peng “88” Jin from his secondary team, Flaming Cyborg Alpha, to take the role as Aster’s temporary mid-laner.
In his latest stream, BurNIng also announced the competitive break of Fu “Q” Bin, who played position 5 (Support) who had just joined a few days ago. On the brighter side, he teased his viewers about the possible return of Sylar from his competitive break, to “most likely playing on position four” which could be a joke, given that Sylar’s more well-known in the carry position.
In other Dota 2 news, German player Dominik “Black^” Reitmeier is standing in for Peruvian team Infamous for the World Showdown of Esports (WSOE) 6 due to their resident player Enzo “Timado” Gianoli being unable to attend.
