North American (NA) team Quincy Crew, has qualified for the Dota Summit 11 Minor.
Eager to make up for missing out on a direct invite to the Chengdu Major, Quincy Crew only dropped a single game in the Minor qualifier on their way to punching a ticket to Los Angeles.
The squad first faced off against Team Plus, dominating the series by ending both games in 22 and 19 minutes, respectively.

- NA teams EG, Fighting Pepegas, and J.Storm have qualified for the MDL Chengdu Major
Their next opponents, Demon Slayers, put up more of a fight as they dealt Quincy Crew their only loss in the qualifier courtesy of an unconventional position-4 Zeus pick. Nonetheless, SumaiL and his team eventually took the series, 2-1, to advance to the qualifier finals.
Demon Slayers forced a rematch with Quincy in the finals after defeating the Mexican Team Xolotl in the lower bracket. Despite losing a game in their previous matchup, Quincy Crew utterly dominated Demon Slayers in the finals, 3-0, and finished all games in 33 minutes to secure the NA spot in the Dota Summit 11 Minor.
Despite qualifying for the Minor, Quincy Crew will have to compete without star mid-player Sumail “SumaiL” Hassan, who announced his departure from the team today.
The Dota Summit 11 Minor will be held from November 7-10 in the BeyondTheSummit studios in Los Angeles, California, with US$300,000, 660 DPC points, and a direct invite to the Chengdu Major up for grabs.
