Navi’s new Dota 2 roster has been announced on their website, and it includes a handful of familiar faces.
Navi previously benched its entire roster after failing to qualify for The International 10. The COO of Navi, Aleksey “xaoc” Kucherov announced that the organization will need time to prepare for the next DPC.
Navi’s new Dota 2 roster is now finalized and ready for the next DPC season.
Old friends and new allies make up Navi’s new Dota 2 roster
Being one of the oldest Dota 2 organizations, Navi has had many rosters changes over the decade. The organization showed impressive results in the last DPC season after a second place finish at ESL Germany, followed by a championship win at OGA Dota PIT Season 4.
Since then, Navi underwent several roster shuffles in April and May this year, which resulted in the team performing poorly in ESL Upper Divison Season 2 and the regional qualifier for The International 10.
Navi’s is now reverting back to its winning formula by bringing several of its successful players back into the fold.
Navi’s new Dota 2 roster
- Alik “V-Tune” Vorobey
- Vladimir “No[o]ne” Minenko
- Viktor “GeneRaL” Nigrini
- Ilya “ALOHADANCE” Korobkin
- Alexey “Solo” Berezin
V-Tune and GeneRaL were part of Navi’s squad from December 2020 until April 2021, when the team experienced the most success. No[o]ne joined Navi in May as their midlane player.
This will be ALOHADANCE and Solo’s first time with Navi. Solo previously played with No[o]ne on Virtus Pro for more than four years. The result of their teamwork was a first-place finish at multiple prestigious events such as the Kuala Lumpur Major, ESL One Birmingham, The Bucharest Major, ESL One Katowice, and ESL One Hamburg.

ALOHADANCE played position 4 previously to great success. However, he switched to the carry role five years ago while playing for Team Empire. It will be interesting to see how he adjusts as he returns to his signature position after half a decade.
Rounding up the impressive lineup is coach Ivan “Artstyle” Antonov, who led Navi to their victory in the first International 2011. He also coached Solo and No[o]ne when he was previously at Virtus.Pro.
Navi’s new Dota 2 roster looks promising on paper. Since there are no DPC event for at least three months, the roster will have plenty of time to get into fighting shape for the next season.
