The WePlay! Tug of War: Mad Moon tournament just concluded with Nigma Esports defeating Team Secret in a thrilling best-of-five Grand Finals match that went down the wire.
With the tournament now over, here’s a look back at the seven top plays from the tournament.
Nigma vs Virtus.pro (Group Stage)
During a two-on-two skirmish between Nigma and Virtus.pro, Amer “Miracle-” Al-Barkawi was able to outplay Roman “Resolut1on” Fominok by consuming a Tango, using his Stick charges, and expending a Healing Salve to stay alive.
Nigma vs Ninjas in Pyjamas (Group Stage)
NiP quickly dropped the Arena of Blood ultimate on Miracle- with a follow-up Requiem of Souls on the way.
Luckily for Nigma, Maroun “GH” Merhej was able to land a perfectly placed Fissure which helped Miracle- escape.
Ninjas in Pyjamas vs Aggressive Mode (Group Stage)
Saahil “Universe” Arora caught Aggressive Mode’s Dusko “BoraNija” Boranijasevic with a well-timed Firesnap Cookie that stunned the enemy middle laner and set up the kill for Connor “TANNER” Weedon.
Gambit Esports vs Aggressive Mode (Upper Bracket Quarterfinals)
Kiyalbek “dream`” Tayirov caught three of Aggressive Mode’s heroes in his Chronosphere, and this set up the perfect opportunity for Artiom “fng” Barshack to land a devastating Chain Frost ultimate.

Team Secret vs Nigma (Upper Bracket Semifinals)
Ludwig “zai” Wahlberg was clearly the most valuable player during Team Secret’s match against Nigma in the tournament’s Upper Bracket Semifinals. First, he was able to juke GH with an unbelievable Force Staff and Blink play to get away from the enemy team.
Then, zai was able to outplay Aliwi “w33” Omar by Force Staffing him into a Hoof Stomp that helped Team Secret win a crucial team fight.
Nigma vs Aggressive Mode (Lower Bracket Quarterfinals)
Nigma found a way to get around Dota 2’s back-door protection with their Tiny and Io combo, along with Kuro “KuroKy” Takhasomi’s Chen’s team auras.
