Adroit Esports have announced that they have officially signed Filipino Dota 2 player Justin “Tino” Grimaldo as the team’s hard carry.

Tino initially joined the team as a stand-in during the ESL One Thailand 2020 Asia Division, right after Adroit decided to let go of John Anthony “Natsumi-” Vargas. Tino has a fair share of professional experience, having played previously for Geek Fam and Smart Omega,” the organization’s welcome message noted.



Tino started his Dota 2 pro career in 2018 playing for different Filipino esports organizations. He began as Sterling Global Dragons’ hard carry player. He was then most recently part of Smart Omega’s Dota 2 roster right before he joined Adroit. 

“We now focus on developing our chemistry among the team and [will] soon be able to show it in future tournaments,” said Adroit in a statement.

Adroit Esports also recently welcomed a new team manager in Gef “Botit” Osorio, who will help guide its players moving forward.
