Tundra Esports capped off their Dota Pro Circuit 2023 journey by placing third at the Bali Major — but how everything fell into place for the defending TI champions was out of the ordinary.

Tundra Esports had unforeseen problems at the Bali Major — but they came up with great solutions

During a hard-fought Bali Major group stage where they claimed an upper bracket slot, Tundra ran into their first problem.

Martin “Saksa” Sazdov had to drop out of the tournament following an illness. Team’s coach Kurtis “Aui_2000” Ling stepped up on the third day of the tournament, and immediately made an impact with his eclectic hero choices.
