This huge beast can be spotted swimming in various lakes across the island, surprising many players on the boats passing by it.

The Great Turtle has seven potential spawning locations scattered across the map. We have marked these common locations on the above map.
The most efficient method is to quickly scan the map while on the battle bus. Pay close attention to the marked locations and try to spot the Giant Turtle swimming in any of the water bodies. You can also just jump at the center of the map and while landing watch out for the swimming turtle.
Near or on the Great Turtle, you might encounter Ryuji, an NPC. He’ll share a story about a sea serpent and the Great Turtle’s sad situation. According to Ryuji, the turtle is struggling with darkness and loneliness and is looking for its lost love.
Searching for the giant turtle adds a touch of excitement to the usual Fortnite games, making them interesting.
As of now, the Great Turtle doesn’t have any rewards or functionality added to it apart from being a moving location where you can land, open chests, and do all sorts of things you do in any other location on the map. However, there could be an easter egg attached to it in the later updates.
