Fortnite has unvaulted fan-favorite Med Mist by popular demand. Here’s how you can spritz it for healing in Chapter 5, Season 3.

Released in Chapter 3, Season 1, Med Mist was an instant hit among Fortnite players due to its ability to be used while on the move, unlike other healing methods.

However, it was vaulted in 2021, and players moved to Shield Potion and other versions of Med Mist. Now, Epic Games has made it available just as Chapter 5, Season 3 nears completion.

Med Mist in Fortnite is just as viable as it was before, offering 5 health per tick with a maximum usage of 150. This means if you’re under 100 HP, one entire shot can restore your health. Med Mist takes up one stack in your inventory and goes away as soon as you equip it.

Med Mist is an easy-to-find item reserved for those curious enough to unlock any and all loot chests scattered across the map.

Fortnite Med Mist may be an uncommon item, but players can find it on floor loot if they’re lucky and patient enough. It also comes in supply drones and large ammo boxes, or you can just snatch it from an enemy you eliminated.

In Chapter 5, it’s a good idea to inspect the items dropped by any opponents you defeat. Med Mist is already in high demand, so many players may have it in stock already.

Once you claim it, spray it on yourself by pressing the fire button to gain health. Alternatively, you can help a squad mate in a pinch by aiming towards them and pressing the ADS key.

If the ally is close enough, they’ll gain the same amount of health as the owner of the Med Mist would. You can also heal hired characters or NPCs with Med Mist in Fortnite.
