Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1 is here with a Hunter-themed island filled with plenty of new locations also known as POIs.

However, not every POI offers great loot which is why it’s important to figure out the best landing locations in order to score rare loot and get an advantage in the game.

Burd
Burd is an excellent starting point. It features a slurp truck for instant shield replenishment and offers 18 chests alongside ample floor loot. You’ll also find a bunch of slurp areas to fill your shield bar to the brim. There’s also a small house nearby for more loot options.
Even if your teammates get eliminated at this POI, you’ll have the option to recall them using the reboot van. Finally, you can easily move inside the safe zone as Burd has a total of three car spawns.
Pumpkin Pines
Pumpkin Pines is another low-key spot with its own slurp truck and 12 chest spawns. It also features hidden areas with more chests and floor loot. A Launchpad is nearby for rotations which leads to an area with an extra 15 chests and even more loot.
Geyser mobility is also available and you’ll encounter an NPC named Cinder. Cinder can be hired and grants you the Twinfire Auto Shotgun.
Floxy Floodgate
Foxy Floodgate offers a slurp truck and abundant floor loot. Though it might attract more players, the area’s size ensures plenty of loot for everyone. There’s a reboot van, a launchpad, and vehicles for mobility, making it not only a solid location for the early game but also a beneficial spot during the mid-stages.
Hopeful Heights
Hopeful Heights is a fantastic POI that’s often overlooked. Its condensed loot path allows for quick farming and fast rotations which is ideal for both solos and trios. The location also has several launchpads which makes the travel to central map locations seamless.
Martial Maneuvers
This spot features a Slurp Truck and the Typhoon Blade followed by 16 chests in the area. If the loot feels a bit scarce here, you can drive a car to the nearest location which is the Bird Gas Station.
Another cool feature around this area is the Sprites that are scattered around the map. If you interact with a Sprite at one of the temples, you can receive additional loot. While the loot isn’t guaranteed to be epic or legendary, it’s a nice bonus.
