Leakers are confident Fortnite is collaborating with Demon Slayer for an upcoming chapter, and fans are on the moon even though Epic hasn’t confirmed the rumor.
For each chapter in Fortnite, Epic manages to snag a collaboration with either a popular artist, actor, or product to make sure players have a consistent stream of new skins and in-game items.
Fans don’t mind. In fact, cosmetics from these events sell in bulk, becoming rare and coveted items in the game. While all such events are a big hit, anime crossovers usually make the most noise in the Fortnite community.
Demon Slayer Fortnite collaboration
Leakers claims that Epic is now working with Demon Slayer to bring new content to Fortnite. This comes from Shiina, a credible reporter behind dozens of Fortnite leaks, which means it’s most likely safe for anime fans to celebrate a big collaboration between Fortnite and Demon Slayer.
Is a Demon Slayer Fortnite event coming?
Yes, at least according to leaks. If true, fans will be able to purchase Tanjiro’s outfit and maybe even style it with Fortnite Kicks.
Fortnite and Demon Slayer collaboration will be one of the biggest in the game so far, considering the reaction to past anime crossovers. Previously, Fortnite has banded with Dragon Ball Super, My Hero Academi, Attack on Titan, Naruto, and Jujutsu Kaisen to rope in anime fans.
All of these collaborations brought in eye-catching skins, in-game items, and storylines.
For Fortnite and Demon Slayer collaboration, fans can expect outfits themed after the main cast. Items for Tanjiro, Inosuke, Nezuko, and Zenitsu could range from skins to in-game items.
While it’s tough to make a guess based on items seen on the show, we could expect Tanjiro’s water-breathing sword effects, Nezuko’s bamboo muzzle, Zenitsu’s lightning aura, and Inosuke’s boar mask. Still, it is hard to say how these signature items would fit into the game.
The release date for the Fortnite and Demon Slayer collaboration is unknown, but leakers suggest it’s coming soon. That means Epic could very well roll out the crossover in Chapter 6 on December 1.
