Fortnite is making cosmetic shopping easier with Web Shop, an online store that functions as an extension to the in-game item shop.

Besides cut-throat gameplay, Fortnite is known for its collaboration with artists, movies, and other video games. Many of these items are only available for a short time, creating a sense of urgency for players to purchase before they’re gone forever.

As a result, casual players often miss their chance to snag popular skins, making them elusive for those who don’t frequent the store.

Now, Epic Games is streamlining the in-game shopping experience for those who don’t play Fortnite regularly.

What is Fortnite Web Shop?

Fortnite Web Shop is an item shop outside the game that players can access from any device. The shop goes live on August 19 and can be accessed by following this link

Each item will be listed along with the V-Bucks required to purchase it. Click on your desired skin to view its details and see how much time you have left to snag it before it’s gone from the store.

Some items from Fortnite’s Battle Pass will get added to the shop after 18 or more months

Click “Sign in to purchase” to buy a skin and add your account details. Once signed in, you’ll also be able to see your account balance, which may help you make better financial decisions in Fortnite.

With Fortnite Web Shop, players will not need to be on their computer and start Fortnite to purchase an exclusive, time-limited item. Simply go to the website from any device or browser and view live items. Epic Games explains Web Shop as an extension to item shop, which means everything works similarly to the in-game store.

Fortnite Web Shop features all items live that day, including Outfits, Pickaxes, Glider, emotes, battle passes, and everything you’d see in the regular in-game shop. Players can also use creator codes to get discounts.
