Fortnitemares 2024 has been confirmed by Epic Games. But when is it happening?
Leakers suggest that fall festivities are in full swing at the Epic Games headquarters to shell out Spooktacular rewards, islands, and cosmetics in Fortnite.
Fortnitemares 2024 guide
Fortnitemares has become an annual staple, with Epic Games releasing the spooky update without fail since 2017. With October only a week away, fans wonder when Fortnitemares 2024 will go live.
Epic Games hasn’t officially confirmed Fortnitemares 2024, but the event was implied in the latest Creator Callout for Spooky Islands. In the blog post, the developer said that the “islands will be featured in the Fortnitemares,” but the date and duration weren’t mentioned.
When does Fortnitemares 2024 start?
If leaks are to be believed, Fortnitemares will begin on October 15. That means the event will go live when the Daily Quest refreshes on Tuesday.
It’s worth noting that most major Fortnite updates go live on Tuesday, so leaker HYPEX may be on the spot with one. According to the leaker, Epic is already working on both the event and OG Chapter 2 for October.
If that’s the case, players should put their pumpkin hats on and prepare to shell out some V-Bucks.
This year’s Fortnitemares is expected to be bigger than ever, with Islands that would boost teamplay and chaos with Proximity Chat as a must-have feature.
Besides that, fans should expect Billy from the movie SAW, Mephisto, and some returning collaborations like Jack Skellington and more.
Last year, many items were returned to the shop, and this time, leakers are betting on Wood Stake Shotgun, legendary Pumpkin Launcher, and Flowberry Fizz to make a comeback.
Besides that, Epic has already confirmed that Halloween-themed maps will be available on Discover. It’s safe to say that Fortnitemares 2024 is going to bring in heaps of quests, new skins and cosmetics, items, and crossovers.
