When and how to watch Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4 live event
The Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4 live event also known as Remix The Prelude has been officially confirmed to begin on November 1, 2024, at 6:30 p.m. E.T. We’ve also included a countdown below for your convenience:
In order to watch the Chapter 5 Season 4 live event, players must log in at least 60 minutes before the countdown timer ends in order to avoid long matchmaking queues.
In case you are stuck at the game’s loading screen or can’t join the event for any reason, we recommend watching popular Fortnite streamers such as Ninja, NickEh30, and SypherPK to not miss the action.
What to expect from the live event?
The Rift Beacon, damaged by Doom’s attack, will be repaired and placed on a platform. Speculation points to Iron Man and Suri as the masterminds behind this restoration.
The repaired Rift Beacon could allow players to traverse through previous chapters and ultimately return to the Chapter 2 map. Fortnite has teased an in-game cinematic and a countdown that will appear near this beacon before the live event.
Players will experience a lightning bolt animation on the Rift Beacons followed by the return of the Zero Point in the first phase of the live event. Zero Points and the Rift Beacons may work together to transport players back to the Chapter 2 map.
By using a new system to prevent leaks, Fortnite has been able to keep most of the details under wraps. However, we know that the live event will contain different phases:
- Lightning Bolts and Zero Points – Early animations involving the Rift Beacons.
- Light Beam and Sprays – A beam of light will appear in the sky, accompanied by sprays symbolizing different phases.
Various locations, including the Raft and the Underworld, are expected to be featured in the upcoming live event.
