Where to find Kinetic Blade in Fortnite Chapter 6
The Kinetic Blade is a part of the floor loot, which means you can easily find it on the ground, inside the chests, or purchase it from certain NPCs by spending your gold bars. Once you have the Kinetic Blade in your inventory, here’s how you can use it efficiently in the game.
How to use Kinetic Blade
The Kinetic Blade has two main attacks—the light attack and the dash attack. The light attack swings the sword twice in quick succession for a short-range attack that knocks opponents back which deals 35 damage per hit (70 damage in total).
Here are the keyboard controls to use Kinetic Blade in Fortnite:
- Move
- Left Click
- Dash Attack
- Right Click
- Dash Attack (In Air)
- Jump + Left Click
However, the light attack has a long animation and you can’t cancel it. So we recommend jumping while using the quick attacks to make it harder for opponents to hit you and give you better control over your second swing.
The dash attack launches you forward wherever you’re looking and it’s great for mobility. You can travel up to 40 meters, hitting enemies up to 25 meters away and it deals 60 damage.
You can use all three dashes in a row without touching the ground and you get a dash back every 10 seconds. It’s an excellent mobility weapon, especially if you aim at a 45-degree angle into the air for maximum distance.
A cool trick is to combine a dash attack with a light attack to extend your dash distance. But keep in mind that after a dash or light attack, there’s a finishing animation that makes you vulnerable, so be careful. If you’re falling and out of dashes, use a light attack to avoid taking fall damage.
