Epic Games has added Birthday Cakes to Fortnite to celebrate the game’s seventh birthday. These cakes are scattered across the map, and eating a slice can benefit you.
On top of that, you can also find Birthday Presents, which can help you get some legendary or epic items.
In this ONE Esports guide, we’ll let you know where to find Birthday Cakes and Birthday Presents in Fortnite.
Fortnite Birthday Cake locations
Fortunately, there are 10 Birthday Cakes spread across the map, so you don’t have to worry about the whole lobby chasing after just one.
You can find the Birthday Cake at the following locations in Fortnite:
- The Raft
- Castle Doom
- Reckless Railways
- Mount Olympus
- Redline Rig
- Doomstadt
- The Underworld
- Restored Reels
- Grand Glacier
- Grim Gate
When you reach one of the locations, you’ll find a Birthday Cake with eight slices around it. While you can’t interact with the giant cake, you can eat these slices.
Consuming each slice will grant you 10 Health and 10 Shield. So, if you’re pretty low on health, you can consume all the slices to restore everything.
There’s also a quest that will reward you with 20,000 XP if you eat seven cake slices. However, if someone else eats the slices before you, you’ll need to visit another location.
On top of that, if your Health and Shield is already full, you won’t be able to consume the slice.
Fortnite Birthday Presents locations
Birthday Presents have also been added to Fortnite as part of the birthday celebrations. They are quite rare and spawn at random locations on the map.
The best way to get them is to keep exploring different areas, especially major POIs, as you’ll either find them on the ground or inside chests.
Once you find a Birthday Present, pick it up and throw it on the ground to open it. Inside, you’ll find a Birthday Medallion along with either a legendary or epic item.
